Art at The Park is a tranquil, calm and creative environment offering weekly and weekend art courses in a beautifully situated studio, overlooking Lough Graney and the mountains beyond.
Hosted at Killanena House, Julie Douglas guides you through Watercolour Painting, Drawing, Life Drawing, Portraiture and Botanical painting in this quiet, unspoilt corner, off the tourist trail.
Classes are very small (no more than 10 students), and are friendly and relaxed. Julie is a gentle, encouraging teacher. You won't feel intimidated in her class, but instead, you'll be amazed at how good your own work is by the end of the day. You'll be inspired, motivated and feeling better about yourself - students walk taller when they're going home!
Art at The Park also offer a wealth of other courses with carefully chosen visiting tutors including papier mache workshops, basket weaving, photography, oil painting and more. All the images on this website, bar the photographs, are taken
