An overview of our art coursesYour choices
The nature of the art classesSessions start with a talk about the subject matter, how to begin, trouble spots to look out for and a clear indication of your goal. The atmosphere is friendly, informal and comfortable (the most important ingredient in the creative process - you have to feel 'at home' and relaxed.) Julie's style of teaching is positive and celebrates the good points of every student's work, and develops paths for each individual to improve. Every student is different, and therefore every painting is different too. Your experience will be positive, uplifting and rewarding. As well as exhausting!
Equipment & class sizes Unless specified, students must provide their own materials. A full list of materials will be supplied upon booking. Students also need to bring a sandwich etc for their lunch on all-day courses (unless specified), but tea and coffee will be provided. Classes are very small (no more than 10 students), and are friendly and relaxed.
